Married to Alice Ada Smithson nee Blakeley who died 5th February 1917 and is buried in the same grave. They were married in Westown, Dewsbury. Her father was John Blakeley, a Dyer.
On his marriage details Henry was a 20 year old Spinner living at Marshall’s Buildings, Upper Road, Batley Carr.
They had three sons Albert (b. 1903 in Batley Carr) , Norman (b.1909 in Dewsbury) Cyril(b1911) They also had two daughters both died young Mabel (b 1905 d 1905) Eva (b1907 d 1908). The three sons were brought up by different parts of the extended family. Norman emigrated to USA in early 1920s where he lived till his death.
