Ernest Luford Bedell – Corporal 372

Ernest’s birth was registered Q4 1889
He was the eldest son of John Henry and Mary Elizabeth Bedell.
Ernest served with the 5th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.
He died on 18th December 1915 aged 26 – probably in the first Phosgene Gas Attack at Wieltje east of Ypres in Belgium.
